The staff was nice.
The air conditioner did not work it was quite hot. The owner was not helpful when I asked for help with my lost MacBook she was unwilling to ask the cleaner about it and she refused to show the CCTV footage.

the reception staff provided helpful maps. breakfast offered a choice of options, including cooked eggs. our room, a double room canal view, had high ceilings and antique furniture. we loved the views from the two windows facing the canal
the shower wasn't enclosed completely, so water splashed onto the bathroom floor.
